Had pizzas and burgers, both pretty good. Price point reasonable. Nothing exceptional, but really solid.
One down side is that they charged £11 admission for the gig on that night, and really weren't encouraging people to attend. Meant the gig started late and was mostly empty. Note to owners - you'd do much better if you focused making money on food and drink and reduced (or removed) the gig fee. Would also be vastly better for the bands, who had the misfortune of playing to an empty room.

Nice fun and bustling atmosphere and nice service but you really can't charge £13 for a veggie burger, for it not be a Beyond patty as advertised, for it to be pretty meagre and uninspiring anyway and not even served with chips. Or a salad. Or anything. AT ALL.
Nachos and pizza were fine.

Venue shuts down 1 hour before doors open for a scheduled event with the explanation: closed for maintenance, sorry .... absolutely ridiculous

They have excellent cider on draught, especially for London, had an excellent pizza, that seemed like it had been in a pizza oven, and scratch cooked. My group's food was excellent too in quality and portion.
Atmosphere was great, with the quality food it meant people were out for a good time, not just to get ruined, was lively inside with a band warming up, and a good selection of alcohol if I was local I'd be here regularly.

Excellent pub, with an open and friendly atmosphere. Great service. Good food. Many interesting bands play here live.
The only annoying thing is the smoke machine that irritates your trachea and lungs.

I never had anything to eat. Only had drinks, not really a good selection if you like brandy. Service was good and the atmosphere was pretty decent.
